Please consider the steps outlined below as an invitation to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and UUFN as you discover if this community is the right fit for you. When you're ready, you're warmly invited to become a member, but there is no pressure. Membership is not required to participate in this community. If you have any questions, please feel free to connect with our minister, Rev. Sara Smalley.

For Visitors: What We're About
What We’re About is a brief overview of Unitarian Universalism and UUFN. Sessions typically last about 30 minutes, and no sign-up is necessary – just show up and learn more about our community. Sessions are held in person at UUFN after Sunday morning services. Children are welcome to attend with their grownup(s).

New to UU
If you're new to Unitarian Universalism or want to explore it more deeply, New to UU is for you. This class consists of several sessions where we discuss Unitarian Universalist history and theology, with time for questions, reflections, and sharing our stories. It’s a great way to learn about UU beliefs while connecting with others.

The Meaning of Membership
If you're ready to deepen your connection to UUFN, join us for The Meaning of Membership. This class explores the deeper meanings and expectations of membership, and offers participants the opportunity to reflect on what membership means to them. After completing the class, participants are invited to officially become members by signing the membership book during a Sunday service.

New Member Recognition Sundays
New members will be welcomed and recognized by the congregation during a Sunday service in the spring. We look forward to celebrating with you when you’re ready!

Class and Service Offerings
These classes and services are offered regularly throughout the year. Dates and details will be printed in the order of service announcements and monthly bulletins.
